Lycoming IO-720 Serie Vliegtuigmotor
De Lycoming IO-720 motor is een vliegtuigmotor met grote cilinderinhoud, horizontaal tegenover elkaar geplaatst, met acht cilinders, met vier cilinders per zijde.
De motor heeft een brandstofinjectiesysteem dat de brandstoftoevoer proportioneel aan de luchtstroom regelt, waarbij de brandstofverdamping plaatsvindt bij de inlaatpoorten. De motor heeft een cilinderinhoud van 722 kubieke inch (11,8 liter) en produceert 400 pk (298 kW). De cilinders hebben luchtgekoelde koppen gegoten uit een aluminiumlegering met een volledig bewerkte verbrandingskamer.
